We are passionate about fair and ethical trading and as the name hopefully suggests our principle remains to play our part (however small in the scheme of things) in helping make a fairer world…helping you to help the planet and its inhabitants.

We do this by providing a choice of high quality, ethically produced and traded products at competitive prices (often not much different from non ethical lines sold on the High Street). We practice what we preach...trade fair trade products fairly. However, our keen prices are a result of our ensuring a lean value chain rather than at the expense of the prodcucers. We continue to listen to you, our customer with regards the credentials of the brand we currently stock and any new lines that we should look into stocking. So, please do continue to share your thoughts with us.

Before listing any new product we work exhaustively to understand the prospective supplier’s standards and only stock line(s) where are confident that their ethics are in line with ours.

Fair Trade

When you shop with us you can rest assured that we are committed to ethical trading and we guarantee that we only sell fair-trade goods that are either certified or where we are absolutely sure of the products fair trade credentials – this is not just a market opportunity it is our mission.

You can rest assured that these democratically run cooperative members have been guaranteed a fair and stable price, above the basic market value, for their produce. Additional to the price paid for the produce, the growers also receive various forms of support in their local communities to aid social, economic and medical improvements, such as new schools, hospitals and water treatment plants

Organic and Sustainable Products

Although fair trade remains at the heart of what we do and new fair trade lines are always given listing preference, we do continue to add to the range of organic and sustainable products range and will continue to do so (which is primarily via customer requests).
